The Year in Focus: 2008 Incognito's output has continued as it left off last year with band leader Bluey releasing his latest album Tales From the Beach. The album features Joy singing lead on Step Aside, I Come Alive and It May Rain Sometimes. Joy has toured with Incognito to Singapore, Reunion Island, Japan, Jakarta and, during the last month, Germany and Italy. The band are scheduled play to audiences in the Republic of China later on this month







The Year in Review: 2007 Joy has been travelling extensively throughout 2007 promoting Incognito's latest album Bees + Things + Flowers. She has literally covered the four corners of the world doing shows as far afield as Japan and Australia The year started off in her home town of London, where she and the group played to a rapturous audience at the Jazz Cafe for EIGHT nights straight. Joy was on outstanding form and shared the lead with her partners Imaani and Tony Momrelle. Dueting with Tony they got the night off to to an energetic, vibrant start with "Where Do We Go From Here?" Her first solo for the night was "Raise" which indeed raised the hairs on everyone's back. It was a beautiful rendition. Joy finishes her solo effort with "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" - her show stopper. The amazing and unique attribute that Joy brings to this track is that she'll sing it differently every night. For those attending more than one show it is simply staggering to watch as she interprets and conveys the lyrics according to how she is feeling on the night and from the vibe she is getting from the adoring crowd. No two performances are ever the same! Look out for Joy's oncoming shows with Incognito for the rest of the year from the table below:

Joy released an ep in 2006 titled Grace, which garnered critical acclaim from both sides of the Atlantic.
