The Year in Focus: 2010 This is an exciting year for Joy on two accounts. The first is the highly anticipated release of new Incognito material. The second is the news that her ardent fans have been waiting for: her own album. Joy has been in the studios working with established musicians as well as taking the opportunity to colloborate with young and exciting talent about to explode on the scene.

The Year in Review: 2009 JJoy spent the year singing with Incognito, and ended it providing stellar backing vocals for the sellout tour of Here Come the Girls starring Chaka Khan, Anastasia and Lulu.

The Year in Review: 2008 Band leader Bluey released his latest album Tales From the Beach to critical acclaim. The album features Joy Rose singing lead on Step Aside, I Come Alive and It May Rain Sometimes. Joy toured with Incognito extensively throughout the year to places as far as Reunion Island, Jakarta and the Republic of China. In between performing for the band around the world Joy did a one night special at the renown 606 Club, Chelsea, performing her own set to a full house.







The Year in Review: 2007 Joy has been travelling extensively throughout 2007 promoting Incognito's latest album Bees + Things + Flowers. She has literally covered the four corners of the world doing shows as far afield as Japan and Australia The year started off in her home town of London, where she and the group played to a rapturous audience at the Jazz Cafe for EIGHT nights straight. Joy was on outstanding form and shared the lead with her partners Imaani and Tony Momrelle. Dueting with Tony they got the night off to to an energetic, vibrant start with "Where Do We Go From Here?" Her first solo for the night was "Raise" which indeed raised the hairs on everyone's back. It was a beautiful rendition. Joy finishes her solo effort with "Everybody Loves The Sunshine" - her show stopper. The amazing and unique attribute that Joy brings to this track is that she'll sing it differently every night. For those attending more than one show it is simply staggering to watch as she interprets and conveys the lyrics according to how she is feeling on the night and from the vibe she is getting from the adoring crowd. No two performances are ever the same! Look out for Joy's oncoming shows with Incognito for the rest of the year from the table below:
